Information and Directions:
Wat Kuiburi(วัดกุยบุรี) is being developed with several building projects in hand. If you visit the site at the moment you will find a small ubosoth that contains some beautifully crafted Buddha statues. The main group of three makes a good focal point as you enter the building. The wall paintings in the building are also very good making the interior bright and airy.
Wat Kuiburi is located in the centre of the small town of Kuiburi which straddles Highway 4 in Prachaup Khiri Khan Province. The find the Wat turn left(heading North) at the traffic lights in the centre of town. The gates are immediately in front of you.
Also on the site is an emergency response unit that is funded by the temple. There is no charge for entry but donations are sought to help complete the extensive development work.

Opinion:
If you are passing through Kuiburi on Highway 4 this temple is worth a visit. The ubosoth is well crafted and the new buildings promise to be equally interesting. There are plenty of eating places nearby and the coast is only a few miles to the East.
