Information and Directions:
Wat Tan Jet Yot(วัดตาลเจ็ดยอด ) is an interesting temple dedicated to a revered Thai Buddhist monk(สมเด็จพระพุฒาจารย์ -โต พรหมรังสี). The site is dominated by a large statue of the monk and several very well crafted Buddhist icons, including Hindu deities, both near the main figure and in a room underneath. There is a lot of building work going on at this temple.
The ubosoth is typical Thai Buddhist style but was unfortunately locked on the day I visited.
The temple is located to the East of and near to Highway 4 just before the village of Rai Mai and is signposted (large advertising signs with picture of the temple). It is also very near Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park and would make an ideal stop on a day trip that includes a visit to the park. The park HQ is about 8km from Wat Tan Jet Yot.
There is no entrance charge to the temple.

Opinion:
Although there is still building work in progress this temple is definitely worth a visit especially if passing on Highway 4 or visiting nearby Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park, where aside from the park you will find Wat Khao Daeng. Some excellent photographic opportunities.
